Thank you for the really really nice stay for our next visit. The setting is incredible and stunning, next to the outskirts of Ambleside as well as Ambleside.

I enjoyed being in this place. Overall had comfortable stay at this hotel. Booked a room with absolutely fabulous views out of room. The location was central, just next door to restaurants and shops, Grasmere and the centre.

It was reasonably clean, breakfast was perfect. The room was bright, I really enjoyed my comfortable bed. Was in a lovely quiet area and short walk from restaurants and cafes.

The whole experience was truly memorable, nothing too much trouble, would recomand. We appreciated staying in the place thanks to rooms and staff. Breakfast was included, that was a bonus. There also was easy free parking and heated pool.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a memorable stay. Enjoyed Ambleside, the hotel was perfect. Our superior king room was common and tastefully decorated. The staff was very pleasant.

Would recommend it to anyone. The place was traditional, we truly enjoyed it. We had a mountain view and a heating system, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a study table.

The beds were spacious. Dodds Restaurant, where you can eat, is a short walk to the hotel.
